Lucy Early Obituary

Lucy Mae Early, 95, of Owensboro, passed away on Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at the Heartford House. She was born in Daviess County, Ky on May 20, 1923 to the late Chester and Sarah Lancaster Ray. Lucy was a member of Maceo Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Lucy was preceded in death by her husband, Bennie Early; siblings, Earl Ray, Roy Lee Ray, Autry Ray and Mildred Vincent; a son in law, Mike Bidwell.

Survivors include her children, Brenda (Doug) Smith, Carolyn Bidwell, Tommy Early and Harrison (Carolyn) Early; grandchildren, Charlie Wootton, Connie Hocker, Tracy Prather, Judy Frames, Krystal Moore, Amy Bidwell, Dustie Barnett and Triston Bidwell; 11 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Maceo Baptist Church with burial following in Lewisport Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 am until service time at Maceo Baptist Church on Saturday.
