Louise Anderson Dowell, 100, of Reynolds Station, passed away Friday December 15, 2017 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital with family at her side. Louise was born on January 1, 1917 in Hancock County to the late Chester and Maude Richards Anderson. She was a member of Mt Eden Baptist Church and was a cashier at Rice’s grocery. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, cooking and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Preston Dowell, a sister Hazel Hedden and four brothers Delmar, Herbert, Jesse and Elson.

Survivors include her daughter Carolyn (Don) Crosley; a grandson Brian (April) Crosley; three great grandchildren Jasmin, Addison and Preston; a great great grandson Jackson and a sister Zelma Anderson.

Services are at 2:00 pm Monday December 18, 2017 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Hawesville. Burial will be at Beatty Cemetery. Louise’s family will greet friends from 12 noon until service time Monday at the Funeral Home.
