Kenneth A. Martin

Kenneth A. Martin, 82, of Lewisport, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019 while at the Heartford House.  He was born on May 11, 1936 in Hicksville, NY to the late Albert and Ella Cordilia Woodcock Martin.  Ken was an appraiser and president of the ASA for several years.  He was a member of Lewisport Baptist Church, where he taught Sunday School and sang in the choir.  Ken was a veteran of the United States Navy, member of the VFW and placed American flags in Lewisport Cemetery for Memorial Day.  He was a Gideon and owned TLC Maintenance.  Ken was preceded in death by a brother, Russell Martin and step siblings Thomas Guttenberger, Conrad Guttenberger and Honey Morris.

Survivors include his spouse, Mary Frances Martin; son, Christopher Martin; daughter, Debbie Zeltmann (Kevin); step son, Kevin Jacques; grandchildren, Cherilyn, Katelyn and Daniel; step grandchildren, Jessica, Richard, Dawn and Albert.

A memorial service will be held at 4 pm on February 4, 2019 at Lewisport Baptist Church with inurnment in Lewisport Cemetery.  Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport has been entrusted with care.
