Jeff “Bruno” Gorman, 56, of Lewisport, passed away on October 31, 2017 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. Jeff was born on April 2, 1961 in Owensboro, KY to J.W. and Aretha Ammons Gorman. Jeff was a member of Hawesville Baptist Church, was employed by Domtar where he has worked for 36 years, and was a member of USW Local #1261. He was an avid supporter of Hancock County High School Athletics, where in high school he participated in basketball, football and band. Jeff coached many years in the Hancock County Youth Football League and loved to cheer on the Kentucky Wildcats. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, J.W. Gorman.

Survivors include his wife, Shannon Chappell Gorman; Mother, Aretha Gorman; a daughter, Brenna Gorman; a son, Austin Gorman (Anna); Step daughter, Cassidy Gilliam; step son, Garrett Gilliam; sister, Cindy Eirwin (Jack); a brother, Mike Gorman (Debbie); mother in law, Jenine Posey (Jerry) along with nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am on Friday, November 3, 2017 in the Taylor Chapel of Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport with burial following in Lewisport Cemetery. Jeff’s family will be greeting friends on Thursday from 3 pm until 8 pm and on Friday from 9 am until 11 am at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hancock County Volleyball Boosters.
