James L. "Jimmy" Stinnett

James L. “Jimmy” Stinnett, 76, of Lewisport, passed away on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at his home.  He was born in Lewisport, KY on January 21, 1942 to the late L.B. & Mildred Snyder Stinnett.  Jimmy was retired from Dal-tile.  He was an avid fan of western movies, camping and riding horses with his girls.  Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife, Anna M. Stinnett.

Survivors include his daughters, Shelley (Colby) Doolin and Jamie (Chris) Johnson; grandchildren, Baylee Doolin, Jesse Johnson, Zoey Doolin and Brody Johnson; a brother, Charles (Doris) Stinnett.

Services will be held at 11 am on Monday, December 24, 2018 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport with burial following in Lewisport Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4 pm until 7 pm on Sunday and from 9 am until service time Monday at the funeral home.
