Esther Hurm Craig, 80, of Lewisport was reunited with all of her loved ones who have preceded her on May 29, 2018 at the Heartford House. Esther was born on February 18, 1938 in Owensboro to the late Hubert and Corrine Ralph Hurm. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Craig, two sisters Elizabeth Ann, Martha and a grandson Chase Craig.
She was a very talented person. She enjoyed Quilting, crocheting and painting pictures, she also loved her Kentucky Wildcats. In her lifetime she worked at General Electric, American Olen, Southwire, a nurse and a Preschool teacher.
Surviving her is one daughter Vickie (Roger) Estes; four sons Roger (Kim) Craig, Danny (Anita) Craig, Michael Craig and James Craig; eight grandkids; eleven great grandchildren; siblings Gene (Mary) Hurm, Barbara (Gene) Schell, Jr., Hubert (Joyce) Hurm, Jr. and Ella (Bill) Meyers and many nieces and nephews.
Services are at 11:00 am Friday June 1, 2018 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport in the Taylor Chapel with burial following in Union Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm Thursday and from 9:00 am to service time Friday at the Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Western Kentucky.
