Dorothy Faye Morris,80, of Hawesville died July 21, 2018 at the Heartford House, with her family by her side. Dorothy was born on January 1, 1938 in Hancock County to the late Virgil and Virginia Hardin Nichols. She was a member of Blackford Baptist Church, a Security Guard and a beautician. Preceding her in death are two sons Tony Morris and Todd Morris and a grandson Joshua Morris.
Survivors include her husband of 64 years Marshall Morris; a daughter Debbie (Tony) Crowe; two sons Roger (Debbie) Morris and Jeff (Tracy) Morris; six grandchildren Dustin, Jordan, Jared, Sheala, Ashley and Lacey and 14 great grandchildren.
Services are at 11:00 am Tuesday July 24, 2018 at Blackford Baptist Church with burial following in Blackford Baptist Church Cemetery. Dorothy’s family will greet the public from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday and from 8:00 am until 10:30 am Tuesday at the Gibson & Son Funeral, Hawesville. The family request donations be made to Hospice of Western Kentucky.
