Dave was a very sweet guy. When he retired from the bank he worked at for 30 years, I didn't want to bank there anymore. He had a wonderful spirit about him. I was a "transplant" to Perry County yet he made my wife and I feel welcome here. I would have attended the visitation but I missed the obituary because I was too sick to check the mail, and my wife and I were both very sick on Sunday and Monday anyways. Why can't there be more like him in the world? God bless you, Dave.

I have so many memories of The Roberts Family, I was so sorry to hear of "dad's" passing. He was so good to me & always had time for me no matter what. It didn't matter if the boys were home or not, I'd just drop in and just visit with "mom & dad" for hours! I'm sorry I wasn't able to make it to visitation or the service, my thoughts were with you all. I will keep you all in my thoughts!
Love,
Lora

Judy, I was so sorry to learn of David's sudden, unexpected passing. My heart goes out to you. I, too, lost my husband almost 2 years ago. He was sick for awhile but his loss was one of the hardest thing I even endured. I know exactly how you feel. Friends and family are an important support at this time, and I know you have that . May God bless and keep you in the days ahead.

Judy and family,
We are in Florida for the winter but I am sending you love, light and prayers. So many memories of Dave and our "dropbys" at the house on long afternoons doing bank business, for a glass of your great sweet tea. Dave and Mark are having a great reunion in heaven. Love you.

David was an awesome Christian man. I grew to love him and Judy when they attended the Tell City Methodist Church when I worked there. Much love to Judy and all the family. My prayers are many for all of you. RIP David.
