Charlotte A. Johnston Boling, 77, of Hawesville went to be with her lord and Savior Wednesday September 27, 2017 at Owensboro Health Hospital.  Charlotte was born in Petri, KY on September 18, 1940 a daughter of the late Thomas and Anna Belle Parker Johnston.  She was a member of Boling Chapel United Methodist Church and was retired from the Hancock County School System.  Charlotte enjoyed cooking for her family and loved spending time with them.  She was preceded in death by her Husband Densil Boling, a grandson Ryan Thomas Boarman and a brother Lawrence A. “Judge” Johnston. 

Survivors include two daughters Patricia (Tim) Boarman and Vicky Hammond; five grandchildren Kayla Boarman, Misty Sorrells, Nicholas Decker, Dylan Decker and Hannah Hammond; two sisters Linda (Leonard) Thomas and Debbie (Mike) Carroll and nieces and nephews.  

Services are at 11:00 am Saturday September 30, 2017 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Hawesville.  Burial will be in Boling Chapel Cemetery.  Charlotte’s family will greet friends from 4:00 to 8:00 pm Friday and after 9:00 am Saturday at the Funeral Home.
