Bertha Eula Cambron Finney, 88, of Lewisport, passed away on April 29, 2019 in Ocala, FL. She was born in Daviess County, KY on March 2, 1931 to the late Iva and Mary Mattingly Cambron. Bertha was member of Lewisport First Baptist Church and worked at GE in Owensboro for 27 years. Bertha loved working in her yard, quilting, working puzzles and going to flea markets. She was preceded in death by her husband, Douglas Finney; siblings, Charles Estil Cambron, Elizabeth Kelly, Grace Rafferty, Barbara Boehmann and Pauline Roberts.
Survivers include her daughter, Rita McDaniel’s; son, William Finney; grandchildren, Crystal Powell and Brad Finney; great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Wilkerson, Bryson Powell, Gunner Powell, Ashton Finney, Douglas Finney, Delaney Finney and Brayden Finney; great-great grandchildren, Paisley Kirby and Chandin Powell; 4 sisters, Maggie “Wiggie” Lillian Craig (Wayne), Mary Ann Hubbard (Larry), Edith Bennett (Terry) and Brenda Brown (Junie); 4 brothers Robert Lee Cambron (Connie), Clyde Cambron (Anita), Joseph Cambron (Debra) and Jimmy Cambron (Ann) along with many nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, May 5, 2019 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport with burial following in Lewisport Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 4 pm until 8 pm and on Sunday from 11 am until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Lewisport First Baptist Church.
