Terry Tim Bennett, 76, of Maceo, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital. He was born on August 4, 1941 in Evansville, IN to the late Bloomer and Beatrice Laswell Bennett. Terry was a member of New Chapel United Methodist Church and was retired from the United States Postal Service. He loved to travel, a huge U.K. fan and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Terry was preceded in death by a son, Paulie Bennett, a sister, Rita Bennett and a brother, Martin Bennett.

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Edith Cambron Bennett; their blended family, Terry’s children, Ty (Sheri) Bennett, Mike Bennett and Kathy Sago, Edith’s children, James E. (Cara) Cooper, Michael (Stephanie) Cooper and Lyn (Jay) Velotta; grandchildren; Ty, Heather, Brittany, April, Melissa, Jennifer, Michael, Josh, Nick, Mckay, Seth, Fallon, Felicia and Noah Reed; numerous great grandchildren; a sister, Carol Krehbiel; a brother, Paul Bennett along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, January 8, 2018 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport with burial following in Lewisport Cemetery. Terry’s family will be greeting friends on Sunday from 3 pm until 7 pm and on Monday from 9 am until service time at the funeral home.
