Nathan J. Miller, 92, of Tell City passed away Thursday January 4, 2018 at Oakwood Health Campus, with family at his side. Nathan was born on January 8, 1925 in Keokuk, Iowa to Jack and Clara Salyer Miller. He was retired from the U S Postal Service, a Navy veteran of WWII, a member of the American Legion, VFW and Moose. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Ann Miller and a special Aunt Annie Miller, who helped raise him and a granddaughter Laura Francis Miller.

Survivors include his wife of 70 years Bettyelu Raaf Miller; a daughter Beth (Gary) Bosler of Tell City; five sons Danny Miller and Tim (Karen) Miller both of Tell City, Stephen (Laurie) Miller of Bloomington and Greg (Karen) Miller and Brad (Connie) Miller both of Boonville; 16 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Mr. Miller’s wishes were to be cremated. There will be a private service and burial at a later date. The family request that all donations be made to the American Juvenile Diabetes Association. Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport is in charge of arrangements.
