Joseph Matthew “Matt” White III, 47, of Lewisport, Passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  He was born in Tell City, IN, the son of Joseph Mathew and Gloria Brown White, Jr.  Matt was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and a member of USWA Local 9423.  He was an avid UK fan, loved coaching baseball and deer hunting. 

Survivors include his daughter, Jade Boling (Ryan) Hamilton; two sons, Colton White and Hanson White; his mother, Gloria White; father, Joseph Mathew  White, Jr.; a grandson, Gunner Hamilton; sisters, Sherry (Harold) Hagman and Stacey (Darin) Brown; nieces and nephews, Aaron Hagman, Derrick Hagman, Lindsey Hagman, Kelsey Brown, Luke Brown, Zayne Boling and Bailee Boling; his companion Kim Roby and her children, Austin and Morgan Roby. 

Funeral Services will be held at Noon on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at Blackford Baptist Church with burial following in the church cemetery.  Matt’s family will be greeting friends from 4 pm until 8 pm on Tuesday and from 7 am until 11:30 am Wednesday at Gibson & son Funeral Home, Hawesville.
