John Vernon Page, 70, of Owensboro, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2017 at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital.  He was born on April 16, 1946 in Daviess County to the late Vernon and Emma Pauline Rogers Page.  He was of the Pentecostal Faith and retired from the Owensboro Sewer Dept.  John was preceded in death by a son, Vernon E. Page; sister, Barbara Ford; nephew, David Evans and a brother in law, Gene Drake.

Survivors include a son, Kelly Roberts; a grandson, Logan Page and fiancé Rikki; two sisters, Helen Evans and husband Michael and Wanda Drake and fiancé Dale Haycraft; nieces and nephews, Michael Evans, Deanna Young, Christina Noble, Gena Johnson and Stephen Ford along with several great nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 at South Chestnut Grove Baptist Church, 967 S Chestnut Grove Rd. Lewisport, KY.  Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 4 pm until 8 pm and on Wednesday from 9 am until 10:30 am at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled Veterans of America.
