Hester “Grannie Beryl” Burdette, 104, of Cadiz, formerly of Hawesville, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 18, 2017 at Dawson Springs Health and Rehab.  She was born in Floral, KY on May 10, 1913 to the late Estil and Margaret Lambert Harrison and was raised by her grandfather, John Thomas Lambert.  She was a member of Buena Vista Baptist Church but was a longtime member of Blackford Baptist Church in Hawesville.  Beryl was retired from the medical practice of Dr. Fuchs and Dr. Roby in Whitesville as their office manager.

Beryl is survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

Funeral Service s will be held at 1 pm on Friday, September 22, 2017 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Hawesville with burial following in Old Panther Creek Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4 pm until 7 pm and on Friday after 10 am at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Blackford Baptist Church Building Fund.
