Gilbert L. Potter, SR, 78, of Tell City, passed away on December 10, 2017 at Golden Living Center in Tell City. He was born in Daviess County on January 14, 1939 to the late WD Brown and Stella Mae Hall Potter. Gilbert was retired from Green River Steel where he was a Mill Right. He was preceded in death by 2 siblings, Marie Wright and Delbert Potter.

Survivors include his son, Gilbert L. (Pamela) Potter, JR; grandchildren, KayLona (Brandon) Whitfill, Shireé (Billy) Wheatley, Tyler (Morgan) Potter; great-grandchildren, Amiyah Wheatley, Caiden Dixon, Cameron Wheatley and Zoey Whitfill.

A Memorial Service will be held at 4 pm on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Lewisport, with private burial at a later date in Henderson Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 am until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
