Carson V. Isom, 85, of Pellville, passed away on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at Heartland Villa in Lewisport.  He was born in Hancock County on October 20, 1931 to the late Melrose and Eula Barker Isom.  Carson was a Salesman and a member at West Point Baptist Church.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, loved Kentucky basketball, fishing, and was a Kentucky Colonel.  Carson is a veteran of the United States Army, serving his county in during the Korean War.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Adkins Isom and a  brother, J.W. Isom.

Survivors include his sons, Carl Isom and Larry Isom; grandchildren, Beth Brown and Aaron (Amanda) Isom; great grandchildren, Ellie, Christian, Madalyn and Alexis.

Funeral Services will be held at Noon on Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Gibson & Son Funeral Home, Hawesville with burial following in West Point Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 10 am until service time Saturday at the funeral home.
